Abstract:
The unit is equipped with a spindle (6) comprising a tool clamping area (13a) and a coolant duct (15a) leading towards the upper area of the clamping unit (13a) and connected to a coolant duct at the clamping device (13a). A coolant evacuation duct (16) with a first open end (16a) is connected to the upper area of the connecting duct (15a) and a second open end (16b) connected to the outer surface of the spindle (6). The coolant flow can be adjusted with a pushing and pulling element (18) regulating the connection between the coolant duct (15a) and the first open end of the coolant evacuation duct (16a).
