Abstract:
This machine tool has: a machining device that machines, by means of an implement, a workpiece held on a main spindle chuck; a discharge device that discharges chips generated through machining the workpiece; a chip throwing part that is provided with an inlet for guiding falling chips into the discharge device and with a guide table inclined toward the inlet; a coolant device that is provided with a plurality of nozzles for injecting coolant to both upper portions of the guide table and a workpiece machining point and that repeats recovering of the coolant injected from the nozzles into a tank and feeding the coolant to the nozzles by means of a pump; and a control device that controls opening/closing of electromagnetic valves which are provided to the nozzles.
