Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently execute piercing, cutting and edge preparation by radiat ing a thermal cutting beam to the shapes from a thermal cutting head.
CONSTITUTION: A roller conveyer 7 as the work table mounting shapes W, a portal frame 9 being ridden on this roller conveyer 7, and a supporting frame 49 having a laser beam machining head 87 as the thermal cutting head set on this portal frame 7 are provided, the above laser beam machining head 87 is freely movable to X, Y, and Z axial directions and together the top end of the above laser beam machining head 87 is set also freely swingable in order to point to the longitudinal direction, the lateral direction and the height direction of the shapes W.
