PURPOSE: To provide a wire part of a papermaking machine capable of producing a continuous fibrous material web having high dewatering performances and high uniformity.
CONSTITUTION: This machine is equipped with both a first continuous wire belt 2 and a second continuous wire belt 3 forming a twin-wire zone in a supporting region I of a forming cylinder 4. A formation box 8 is disposed in the supporting region I and is designed in such a way that pressure values can be adjusted from a reduced pressure to an excess pressure acting on the inner surface 9 of the second wire belt 3 in the region of the inner surface 9 of the second wire belt 3. The formation box 8 extends in the direction of movement of the wire part over at least a part of the supporting region I.
