Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plated material having conductivity, thermal conductivity and heat resistance comparable with a precipitation hardening copper alloy material used in a continuous casting mold or a metal mold and capable of thickening by a simple production method.SOLUTION: Since in electroplating of a copper-nickel alloy having copper as a main component, homogenization of a composition and thickening are difficult, by alternately laminating two layers of thin layers of copper-nickel alloys having different nickel contents, the thickening of the plated layer is achieved. Further, by appropriating an average composition of the alloy, it is made possible to obtain desired conductivity, thermal conductivity, and heat resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
