To provide a shoulder band-passing machine enabling the perfect automation of a manufal shoulder band-passing work (a work for forming a shoulder band having an adjuster).
This machine for passing a shoulder band comprises a reciprocatively rotatable horizontal shaft 2 at which end a forked eight ring holder 3 having mutually faced openings 4 each having a depressed cross section and enabling the horizontal insertion of an eight ring E thereinto is disposed, and a passing plate 25 disposed above the eight ring holder 3 and capable of being inserted into or withdrawn from one ring hole (e1) of the eight ring E. After a shoulder band T is inserted into the long hole (e1) of the eight ring E, the eight ring holder 3 is rotated at an angle of 180 degree so that the tip of the passed shoulder band T is placed on the upper side. In the state, the passed shoulder band T placed above the eight ring E is passed through the other long hole of the eight ring E by the downward movement of the passing plate 25. Thus, the shoulder band T is passed through the eight ring E in a U-shaped state.
