PURPOSE: To make it possible to stick a heat press adhesive tape of an arbitrarily selected length to a arbitrarily selected point of a work by melt-cutting, with a heating tool, only the adhesive tape of p laminate composed of the adhesive tape and a base film, conveying the cut adhesive tape together with the base film intermittently at a desired pitch and then sticking only the adhesive tape to the work with a heat pressing tool.
CONSTITUTION: A heat press adhesive tape 1 with a base film 3 is unwound from an unwinding reel 4 by a motor 43 and only the adhesive tape 1 is melt-cut by a rotatable or straightly movable heating tool 33. Then the adhesive tape 1 together with the base film 3 is conveyed by a movable clamp 41 and a fixed clamp 39 intermittently at a desired length of pitch. Only the adhesive tape 1 is then brought into contact with a work 2 placed so as to be able to slide in the longitudinal direction on a movable stage 35 by a heat pressing tool 14 straightly movable vertically and right and left, and is heat pressed to be stuck. Only the base film 3 is rewound to a rewinding reel 8 by a rewinding motor 44.
