Abstract:
To provide a machine tool capable of preventing uneven thermal deformation of an entire bed that can maintain a temperature distribution of the entire bed substantially evenly even if there are a change in temperature and a difference in the temperature distribution within a factory and heat generation on a guide surface of the bed.
The machine tool 11 includes a bed 13 having a guide means and a table 21 that moves on the bed 13 along the guide means. A cavity portion 35 is formed for circulating liquid through the entire inside of the bed 13 and the liquid is supplied to the cavity portion 35 by liquid circulating means 53 to circulate the liquid.
