Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a machine tool capable of automatically achieving the drilling, the shaving, the milling and other operations for a printed circuit board or laminated ones thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A machine tool which is provided with a work table movable in the first direction (X-direction) on a frame 1, and a working unit 12 such as drill equipped with a rotating tool is fitted to the frame 1 so as to be movable in the direction (Y-direction) orthogonal to the first direction. A means to individually move the working unit 12, i.e., an individual motor 26 built in a casing 15 is provided, and each working unit 12 is individually movable irrespective of the movement of other working units 12.
