Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the inclusion of the setup work of a tool magazine provided on a movement unit of a machine tool into all of the serialized processes in the machine tool.SOLUTION: A control device 22 of a drive device 21 of a movement unit 12 defines the setup position of the movement unit in accordance with the processing position of the movement unit before the setup position and/or the processing position of the movement unit after the setup position, and a control device 27 of a drive device 26 of a tool handling device 23/1, 23/2 defines the transfer/receive position of the tool handling device in accordance with the setup position of the movement unit defined by the control device of the drive device of the movement unit. Thus the control device of the drive device of the movement unit variably defines the setup position of the movement unit, and the control device of the drive device of the tool handling device variably defines the transfer/receive position of the tool handling device.
