Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a reaction from acting on a blade sliding table at the time of impact of a hammer head so that merely a limited harmful force acts on a cam disk.
SOLUTION: A hammer (machine tool) comprises a hammer head 18 capable of being driven to an impact speed and a tool support body 14 capable of receiving an action by the hammer head. In order to avoid the reaction of the hammer head, the hammer head 18 is disposed between the tool support body 14 and a mass support body 16 corresponding to the tool support body. The mass support body moves together with the hammer head until the hammer head 18 collides with the tool support body 14, transfers the momentum thereof to the tool support body through the hammer head, and an auxiliary mass 56 to the mass support body 16 procures a necessary impact energy.
