Abstract:
To shorten the processing time in a high speed processing and improve an accuracy.
In this machine, a feed axis (U axis) for moving a head stock 2 along with a column 3 in parallel with the feed axis (X axis) of a table 1 which is a weight unit is installed and a processing is carried out by moving the position of the table 1 by X axis direction feed axis in a processing area not requiring a high speed processing and the processing is carried out by high speed moving the head stock 2 along with the column 3 by U axis direction feed axis after roughly positioning by X axis direction feed axis in a high speed processing area.
