To provide a machine tool with a turret stand easy in attaching wires at a turning side and a fixing side of the turret stand, and allowing simple connection.

A turret lathe 1 includes a headstock 3 gripping a workpiece, the turret stand 7 having a support stand part 8 turnably supporting an attaching part 9 attached with a plurality of actuators 10 and setting the actuators 10 at operation positions, and a bed 5 advancingly/retreatingly moving the turret stand 7 in relation to the head stock 3. The actuator 10 is provided with a common attaching side connector 12 at the support stand part 8 side end part for connecting the actuator 10 to a drive source, and the support stand part 8 is provided with an air cylinder 14 holding a support side connector 16 connected to the drive source. The air cylinder 14 advancingly/retreatingly moves the support side connector 16 in relation to the attaching side connector 12 set at the operation position to connect or separate the connector 16 to or from the connector 12.
