This machine tool, especially a rotating machinery has a workpiece spindle matched in a first direction and furnished with a fixing means to receive the workpiece. The machine tool has a transportation device actually vertically arranged with the first direction furnished with a storage region to store the workpiece. The transportation device is arranged to be moved to a delivery position provided to receive by the fixing means so that the one storage region respectively receives the workpiece to the fixing means from the storage region or stores it in the storage region by releasing it from the fixing means, and a matching device is provided and designed to match the workpiece with the storage region so that the workpiece is received to the delivery position from the fixing means. The matching device is arranged and designed so that the workpiece is matched with the matching device in a transporting direction of the transportation device before the delivery position by the matching device so that the matching device releases the workpiece matched before arriving at the delivery position from the matching device.
