Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of suppressing transmission of vibration between a first processing part and a second processing part, through a bed body.SOLUTION: The machine tool includes: a bed body 4; a first processing part 8 provided at one side of the bed body 4; and a second processing part 12 provided at the other side of the bed body 4. A first spindle part of the first processing part is mounted on a first spindle support base 20 provided at one side of the bed body 4, and a second spindle part of the second processing part is mounted on a second spindle support base 45 provided at the other side of the bed body 4. Between the first spindle support base 20 and the second spindle support base 45, there is provided a slit space 80 extending in a front-to-back direction of the bed body 4, and a vibration suppression space 82 is provided under the slit space 80.
