PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of machining a workpiece in a stable state by supporting the workpiece inside a cylindrical support configured to be detachably held on a main shaft.SOLUTION: A machine tool 100 includes a main shaft 142 configured to support a workpiece W. The machine tool 100 performs machining of the workpiece W by supporting the workpiece W on the main shaft 142. The machine tool 100 includes a cylindrical support 130 configured to be detachably held on the main shaft 142.
