To provide a machine tool that can perform a variety of processing and is made compact.SOLUTION: A machine tool comprises a main shaft 31 capable of gripping a work W and rotating on a main shaft center line CL1, and a cutter holder 5. and a cutter holder 5 has: a first swivel holder 53 which has a first tool unit mounting part 53a to be mounted with a one-side rotary tool T1a processing a work W formed, and swivels on a first swivel axis B1 orthogonal to a main shaft center line CL1 as a center of swivel; and a second swivel holder 54 which has a second whirling tool mount part 54a to be mounted with a thread whirling tool TT2 processing the work W formed, and swivels on a second swivel axis B2 orthogonal to the main shaft center axis CL1 and different from the first swivel axis B1 as a center of swivel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
