Abstract:
To provide a machine tool which automatically performs demagnetization processing.SOLUTION: A machine tool has: a main spindle device rotating a workpiece gripped by a spindle chuck; a turret device in which a plurality of tools are fitted to a cutter holder and which is capable of indexing driving an arbitrary machine tool; a driving device which moves the turret device in a processing axial direction; a controller which controls driving of the respective devices; and a demagnetization mechanism to which a demagnetization member where a plurality of permanent magnets are arranged circularly on the cutter holder of the turret device to which the rotary tool can be fitted is fitted. The demagnetization mechanism rotates the permanent magnets of the demagnetization member by a motor for machine tool of the turret device and moves the demagnetization member by the driving device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
