Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation device or the like configured to facilitate recognizing content of claim described in a foreign language.SOLUTION: A server 30 comprises: a morphological analysis unit 301 which morphologically analyzes an original sentence described in a claim; a component unit division unit 302 which detects a separation pattern used for separating a component of an invention from the claim, and divides the claim by component; a component name specifying unit 303 which extracts a component name on the basis of a result of morphological analysis from the component, to specify the component name; a description pattern sentence unit division unit 304 which divides the component by description pattern sentence when a description pattern sentence for describing the component appears in the component; a translation unit 305 which translates the original sentence of the claim; and an output unit 307 which outputs a translation result to a communication terminal 10.
