The washing/drying machine is provided with a drying means which dehumidifies and heats the air within a water tub to be released into the water tub, a storage part for storing the dew water to be generated during the dehumidification by the drying means, a pump for draining the dew water stored in the storage part, a motor 201 for driving the pump and a microcomputer 206 for the control of the drive of the motor 201. The microcomputer 206 detects the current flowing through the motor 201 during the draining operation and controls to stop the electric energization of the motor 201 when the current shows a value below the prescribed.
