PURPOSE: To facilitate confirmation of tool setting by displaying the tools mounted on a tool magazine on a display.

CONSTITUTION: Tools are mounted on a tool magazine MT then input a mounted tool display command from an input system 6. CPU1 will read out the first tool number of tool pots P1WPn in the tool magazine MT by means of a tool detector TD through an interface circuit 4. Then said read-out tool number is searched from a tool file in a memory 2, and displayed on a display 5 stored in the tool file. Thereafter, the index P is increased to read out the tool number of the tool mounted on the tool pot 2 to perform similar processing.
