To provide a machining control method in which chips can be reliably discharged even performing mist lubrication, continuous boring can be performed, and the loss of machining time is suppressed in comparison with stepping work.
The machining control method for machining a work by a rotary tool while feeding lubricating oil mist to a machining part of the rotary tool having a spiral groove comprises an advancing step S1 of advancing the rotary tool at a predetermined first number of revolution while feeding the lubricating oil mist, a stopping step S2 of stopping the feed of the rotary tool in the middle position of a machined hole formed in the work by the rotary tool or at a terminating end part of the machined hole, a rotating step S3 of rotating the rotary tool in the stopped state at the second number of revolution not less than the first number of revolution, and a returning step S4 of returning the rotary tool at the number of revolution not more than the second number of revolution.
