To reduce cost of a product by reducing energy loss without widening an interval between a heating furnace and a press device when a workpiece not being in a predetermined heating state is excluded before press working to improve production efficiency.
A machining device 1 includes a conveyance device 10 for conveying a workpiece W, a heating device 20 for heating the workpiece conveyed by the conveyance device 10, a press device 30 for hot-pressing the heated workpiece, and a waste box 50 into which a workpiece heated by the heating device 20 and not being in the predetermined heating state is discarded. The press device 30 is arranged on a side of the conveying device 20 on a downstream side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance device 10. The waste box 50 is arranged to be continuous to the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance device 10.
