Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a (sudden) slip generated between a roller and a conical roller, in a machining device performing super-finishing to the conical roller.SOLUTION: A machining device 10 an in-feed type device for machining an outer peripheral surface 8 of a rotating conical roller 7, includes: a rotary mechanism 30 which has a pair of right and left rollers 28 and 29 on which the conical roller 7 is placed, and rotates the rollers 28 and 29; and a grinder 11 contacted with an outer peripheral surface 8 of the conical roller 7 placed on the rollers 28 and 29. Each of the pair of the rollers 28 and 29 has a conical trapezoid shape, contacts with a small-diameter portion of the conical roller 7 with a small-diameter portion of the roller 28(29), and contacts with a large-diameter portion of the conical roller 7 with a large-diameter portion of the roller 28(29).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
