Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device capable of obtaining concentricity at a high accuracy and also machining small work at a high accuracy.
SOLUTION: This machining device 10 comprises a spindle stock 13, a spindle 20 that is rotatably supported by the spindle stock 13, supports the work 11, and is rotated and driven by a driving means, and a pair of machining means 42 or the like that are disposed on both end sides of the spindle 20 and contact with or separate from the rotating work 11 to allow machine of the work 11 from both end sides. The spindle 20 of the machining device 10 comprises a work fixing part 22 for fixing the work 11 and a rotation guiding part 21 that is integrated with the work fixing part 22, provided so as to be longer than the work fixing part 22, and stabilizes the rotation of the spindle 20.
