Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the automation of products sorting, etc., by enlarging cutting width and easily separating products from scrap.
CONSTITUTION: The machining head 5 of a laser beam machine 1 is provided with a laser head 11 by which a workpiece is irradiated with a laser beam LB. Simultaneously, adjacent to the laser head 11, a plasma head 15 equipped with a nozzle 17 is provided by which a cutting medium is irradiated in parallel with the axial center of the laser head 11.
