PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining result recording device capable of easily identifying a workpiece machined with a defective tool.
SOLUTION: This is a machining result recording device to record work results of a machine tool having plural tool magazines that may be changed automatically for machining workpieces under the control of a control means. The device has a recording unit 8 which records data supplied from an NC device 5 for controlling the machine tool, such as the workpiece number; machining program number; and the tool magazine number, tool pod number, tool group number, tool use start time, and tool use end time of the tool used for machining the workpiece, and records the status of the tool as detected by a tool abnormality detecting device 30. The device also has an arithmetic operation unit 11 which edits tool abnormality data for a tool found to be abnormal according to tool working state information supplied form the recording unit 8 involving the above-listed data on the tool, such as the tool magazine number, tool pod number, and tool group number, and a display unit 9 which exhibits in an abnormal tool list the results edited by the arithmetic operation unit 11.
