To provide a machining system capable of hole drilling with higher accuracy, further reducing an area within which cuttings are scattered during hole drilling, further reducing the amount of required fluid (such as a coolant), and efficiently collecting the fluid and cuttings.
The machining system includes a tool unit 50 having a tool M for hole drilling and a fixture 30 to position and fix a workpiece W inside a cover section 10, wherein the cover section includes an opening through which to insert the tool to a position corresponding to that part of the workpiece which is to be machined, with the tool M accordingly inserted into the opening and positioned. The tool includes a fluid passage internally formed to discharge the fluid from its distal end, so that the fluid is discharged from the tool during hole drilling of the part to be machined, and the cover section includes a collecting member 38 down below to collect the discharged fluid and the cuttings generated during hole drilling.
