To provide a machining tool which can efficiently perform threading on a screw having a comparatively larger diameter and finishing machining on an inside surface of a hole, can easily position a tap or the like in a tapping hole, and can perform the machining with high accuracy over a long period of time by being supplied with a cutting agent, and to provide a machine tool.
A machining tool 50A for threading a screw or performing finishing machining on an inside surface of a hole includes: a tool body 51; and a slider 53 arranged to be slid relatively to the tool body 51. A main spindle mounting part 55 mounted to a main spindle 17 of the machine tool is arranged on the tool body 51 perpendicularly to the sliding direction of the slider 53. A tap 56A is arranged on the slider 53 in parallel to the axis of the main spindle mounting part 55. The machining tool further includes a cutting agent supply passage 71 for supplying a cutting agent to a blade of the tap via at least a part of the tool body or the main spindle mounting part.
