PURPOSE: To eliminate fluctuation of tension by winding a pressing belt around the surface of a roller for widing a photographic printing paper, and always energizing said belt in said roller direction.
CONSTITUTION: The photographic printing paper inserted into an opening 2 in the arrow direction is advanced toward the winding roller 10, being guided with guide rollers 5, 6 and guide plates 7, 8, 18, and when the forward end reaches the contact line between the roller 10 and a pressing belt 11, the paper is pressed in the roller 10 direction, and successively wound in accordance with rotation of the roller 10. As an amt. of wound paper increases, a belt pressing plate 13 is pressed out clockwise, a roller 14 is moved against the force of a spring along a groove in the right direction, and the course of the belt 11 becomes short so as not to cause great change in the force for pressing the paper. When the contained paper is drawn out, it can be done only by gripping its end and pulling it out.
