Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesia spinel refractory brick having enhanced hot strength without reducing corrosion resistance at high temperature and capable of being used in various kilns such as a cement rotary kiln.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnesia spinel refractory brick constituted by at least a magnesia raw material and a spinel raw material and containing MgO:75 to 94 mass%, AlO:5 to 22 mass%, ZrO:2 mass% or less (not inclusive of 0), and CaO:less than 3 mass% (not inclusive of 0) with CaO/ZrOmass ratio of 1.5 to less than 2.5.SELECTED DRAWING: None
