Abstract:
To provide a magnesium air battery capable of prolonging the generating time as much as possible by making a negative electrode plate, mainly composed of magnesium, consume uniformly during electricity generation.SOLUTION: A magnesium air battery includes a negative electrode plate 2 mainly composed of magnesium, a positive electrode plate 3 mainly composed of carbon, a salt content desiccation sheet 4 placed between the negative electrode plate 2 and the positive electrode plate 3, formed by being impregnated at least with a salt content and then dried, and exuding the salt content when moisture content is supplied, and a heat-shrinkable tubing 5 surrounding at least the negative electrode plate 2, the salt content desiccation sheet 4 and the positive electrode plate 3. An opening at one end of the heat-shrinkable tubing 5 is a moisture content introduction port 5a for introducing moisture content into the heat-shrinkable tubing 5 and supplying the moisture content to the salt content desiccation sheet 4. When the heat-shrinkable tubing 5 is given with heat and heat shrinks, such a state that at least the salt content desiccation sheet 4 is sandwiched between the negative electrode plate 2 and the positive electrode plate 3 is brought about.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
