Title:
MAGNESIUM ALLOY MEMBER FASTENING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010223363
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a magnesium alloy member fastening structure for fastening a member formed of a magnesium alloy and a member formed dominantly of dissimilar metal more precious than magnesium to each other while inexpensively insulating both members from each other to prevent the occurrence of electrolytic corrosion, even when used under a wet atmosphere.

The magnesium alloy member fastening structure is provided for fastening with bolts the member 1 formed of the magnesium alloy and the member 2 formed dominantly of dissimilar metal more precious than magnesium to each other. In this case, the fastened faces of both members 1, 2 are fastened via an aluminum alloy member 4 which consists of an epoxy resin degenerated by a partial shrunk material of alkoxysilane and containing alumina fine powder having an average grain size of 70 nm or smaller at a mass ratio of 0.5-10%, and an insulating coat having a thickness of 3-20 μm.
