To provide a magnesium alloy sheet which has excellent impact resistance at low temperature, to provide a magnesium alloy member using the sheet, and to provide a method for producing the magnesium alloy sheet.
The magnesium alloy sheet is composed of a magnesium alloy comprising Al and Mn. In the thickness direction of the sheet, when the region to 30% of the thickness of the sheet from the surface is defined as a surface region, and, from this surface region, an optional 50 μm2 of small area is taken, the number of the grains of crystallized products including both of Al and Mn is ≤15 pieces. The maximum size of the grains of the respective crystallized products is 0.1 to 1 μm, and also, the mass ratio of Al to Mn: Al/Mn is 2 to 5. The magnesium alloy sheet has small and few crystallized products causing cracks or the like, and has excellent mechanical properties even under a low temperature environment, thus has excellent impact resistance as well.
