Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manganese-based alloy powder capable of manufacturing a molding being excellent in consolidation properties at the time of molding and having high mechanical properties, and the manganese-based alloy molding being manufactured by using the manganese-based alloy powder and having the high mechanical properties.SOLUTION: Manganese-based alloy powder is constituted by a manganese-based alloy containing calcium of 0.2 mass% or more and of 5 mass% or less, and particle surfaces of the powder are covered with coating layers containing calcium oxide. An average particle diameter thereof is equal to 100 μm or more and equal to 1500 μm or less. When micro Vickers hardness is measured at 10 places for each particle cross-section, an average value of hardness variation index values being values obtained by dividing differences among maximum values and minimum values thereof by the maximum values is equal to 0.3 or less. Further, it is preferable that the manganese-based alloy powder be manufactured by a high-speed rotation water-flow atomizing method using a powder manufacturing apparatus 100 illustrated in FIG. 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
