Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium cell which enables the achievement of a longer life of a magnesium cell.SOLUTION: A magnesium cell 2 is a fuel cell arranged by using magnesium for a negative electrode 21. The negative electrode 21 has a structure in which a film-shaped negative electrode material 23 is joined to each face of a thin plate-like conductive plate 22. The conductive plate 22 includes aluminum. The negative electrode material 23 includes magnesium with 1.5-2.5 wt% of calcium added thereto. In the magnesium cell 2, a positive electrode 24 is opposed to and spaced apart from one face of the negative electrode 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
