Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet drive mechanism capable of generating torque in a rotor and applying predetermined torque to the rotor by varying a driving force of a switching element.SOLUTION: The magnet drive mechanism includes: a rotor 20 with which a group of N-pole permanent magnets and a group of S-pole permanent magnets are fitted at symmetrical positions on an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder; and a plurality of switching elements 30 provided inside of the rotor 20. On outer peripheral surfaces of the switching elements 30, the plurality of N-pole permanent magnets and the plurality of S-pole permanent magnets are disposed in a center axis direction. The plurality of N-pole permanent magnets and the plurality of S-pole permanent magnets are installed in parallel with an outer circumferential direction. The magnet drive mechanism also includes drive means for displacing the switching elements 30 in parallel with a center axis. Before a force acting on the permanent magnets of the switching elements 30 and directed toward the center axis are balanced, the drive means displaces the switching elements 30 in parallel with the center axis, thereby applying the torque to the rotor 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
