To provide a magnet-embedded motor capable of reducing torque ripple and cogging torque while suppressing the reduction of torque.
The magnet-embedded motor is provided with a stator core 8, in which teeth 7 having tooth bars 11 formed substantially in a cylindrical shape, extending toward the axis center and a tooth tip end part 12 formed along the peripheral direction of the tooth bar 11, is formed in the peripheral direction at a constant angular space, and with a winding wound around the tooth bars 11. An auxiliary groove 13 penetrating in the axial direction is formed at the center part in the tip end surface peripheral direction of the tooth tip end part 12, and the area of the auxiliary groove 13 is set to be 10% to 50% of the area of the tooth tip end part as seen from the axial direction.
