Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet powder and a bond magnet which enable to provide a magnet having superior magnetic characteristics and a stable performance.
SOLUTION: The bond magnet is made of a composite structure comprising hard magnetism phase and soft magnetism phase, and is made by bonding the magnet powder having a plurality of projecting streak or grooves on at least a part of the surface with bonding resin. A rate of increase in weight per unit surface area expressed by (ΔWb/W1b)×100/S is 0.2 [wt.%/cm2] or lower, where the weight of the bond magnet before held in a 60°C×95 RH% atmosphere for 1000 hours in a state applied with no coating layer on the outer surface is W1b [g], the weight after held in the atmosphere and then dried is W2b [g], an increase in weight before and after held in the atmosphere is ΔWb=W2b-W1b [g], and the entire outer surface area of the bond magnet is S [cm2].
