To provide a stripper device for reliably drawing a drawn-ironed can barrel to hold a punch tip part without causing damages by a punch after completing ironing and doming of a bottom portion.
The stripper device of the drawn-ironed can barrel comprises a plurality of segments having a claw part engaged with an opening end face of the can barrel and capable of drawing the can barrel from a punch on a tip thereof and capable of the claw parts by the magnetic force, a magnet member to open/close the claw parts of the segments in the direction in which the claw parts are closed or opened by the magnetic force, and a cam mechanism interlocked with an annular elastic member or the punch to bias the segments in the direction in which the claw parts are opened or closed. The magnet member has a magnet device capable of applying the magnetic force so that the claw parts are opened while the punch advances and passes through the stripper device or so that the claw parts draw the can barrel by the circumferential surface of the punch when the punch is retracted.
