Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stabilize contact of each steel ball with a drive disc and ensure specified shift operation by allowing steel ball to push a ring-shaped rib outward with the centrifugal force, and preventing separation of the ball and drive disc from one another.
CONSTITUTION: At the peripheries of a stationary disc 7 and follower disc 8, ring-shaped ribs 7a, 8a are formed protrusively so that they contact steel ball 6, wherein either of the ribs 7a, 8a is protruded to the tip from the center of the steel ball 6 so that the peripheries of the steel balls 6 in ring-form arrangement are enclosed.
