Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong magnet type chain belt in which the pitch between respective chain elements is small, it can be applied to a drum of small diameter, and the construction of the chain element is comparatively simple.
SOLUTION: Many chain elements 2 are combined together through pivot pins 3 so as to constitute this magnet type chain belt 1. The chain element 2 is constituted so that a magnetic attractive body 4 is held with link members 5 at both ends in the width direction of the belt, and the magnetic attractive body 4 is magnetically insulated from the link members 5 through magnetic insulating members 6. The magnetic attractive body 4 is constituted so that a magnet plate 7 is clamped by a pair of yoke plates made of magnetic material at both sides in the belt extension direction. The link member 5 is provided with a fitting recessed part for being fitted with the end of the magnetic attractive body 4, and pivotally supporting holes 5d, 5e for inserting the pivot pins on both ends. The pivotally supporting holes 5d, 5e of the adjoining chain elements are conformed to each other, the pivot pin 3 is penetrated through between the opposed link members 5 in the width direction of the belt, and hence the link members 5 adjoining in the extending direction of the belt are pivotally supported, and the opposed link members 5 in the width direction of the belt are combined together so as to hold the magnetic attractive body 4.
