Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved magnetic attraction device that is capable of advantageously reducing manufacturing cost by increasing the strength of a surface on which a workpiece is mounted to be supported while preventing a liquid from entering the magnetic attraction device, and increasing productivity.SOLUTION: A magnetic attraction device 10 is configured in such a manner that a housing recess 28 for housing a magnetic unit 30 comprising four members, namely, a permanent magnet 32, a first core 34, a coil 36, and second core 38b is formed to open on the top surface of a thick-plate base 12 made of a ferromagnetic body that provides a device body to the magnetic attraction device 10, the magnetic unit 30 is housed in the housing recess 28, an upper lid 14 the top surface of which is a support surface 16 is mounted on the base 12, the housing recess 28 is covered with the upper lid 14, and then the base 12 and the upper lid 14 are fixed by using fixing means such as screws.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
