Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize and improve spatial efficiency and reduce the manufacturing cost by constituting an overcurrent control loop, for limiting the overload control current applied to the inside primary coil of a magnetic amplifier out of a simple circuit without using a coil. SOLUTION: In the circuit constitution of a magnetic amplifier, consisting of a power amplifier 100, an output voltage adjuster 110, an overvoltage detector 120, and an overcurrent attenuator 130, a reverse current flows to a diode D1 when an overvoltage control current is large, and an overcurrent is generated in the primary coil L4 of a magnetic amplifier. An overcurrent attenuator 130 has a function of attenuating this overcurrent, and when negative voltage appears in the secondary winding L2 of a transformer T1, it turns off a field effect transistor FET so as to form an overcurrent control loop, consisting of an FET→ the primary coil L4→ a resistor R8→ a capacitor C3→ and an FET. Hereby, the overload control current flowing to the primary coil L4 is limited.
