Title:
MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT FOR FIXING DENTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002125987
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To form a nonmagnetic weld zone of a magnetic attachment for fixing denture by laser welding, thereby enhancing the reliability thereof and assuring necessary suction force.
A material, such as an Ni member, which makes the entire part of the material nonmagnetic by penetration in welding is interposed near the segments to be welded of a cup yoke and a plate and is penetrated into the weld zone in laser welding, by which the nonmagnetic weld zone is surely formed in one round. This magnetic attachment for fixing the denture is specified to 200 to 400 μm in the width on the side of the weld zone facing a keeper and to 100 to 200 μm in the width on the interior side of the magnet assembly of the weld zone.
