Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically check the type of a magnetic bearing body and confirm and adjust parameters for controlling the magnetic bearing body.
SOLUTION: A magnetic bearing body 20 includes a machine type specifying resistor 412 and a body EEP-ROM 411 for storing machine types and various characteristic values. A control device 40 includes a device EEP-ROM 401 for storing machine types and various characteristics and a ROM table 402 for storing various characteristics corresponding to plural types of machines. A control part 400 updates the device EEP-ROM 401 to the contents of the body EEP-ROM 411 when both various characteristics of the body EEP-ROM 411 and the device EEP-ROM 401 are normal but both various characteristics are not the same, Thus, even if the type of the magnetic bearing body 20 is changed, automatically various characteristics are adjusted to eliminate the need of special engineer's adjustment.
