Abstract:

To provide a small sized and low consumption power magnetic bearing device to generate a control force sufficient to a rotary body in all frequency bands and prevent the occurrence of touch down.

By a groove slot 23 formed on the inside surface of the hole 19 of a stator 17 or a groove slot 27 formed in the upper surface of a protrusion part 25, an aerodynamic pressure is generated between a shaft 13 and the bottom of a disc 9 along with rotation of the shaft 13. When rigidity is decreased at a frequency band (near a resonance point) at which the gain of a transmission function G (s) is lowered, an insufficient amount of the magnetic attraction forces of electromagnets 1, 5, 15a, and 15b is compensated by the action of an aerodynamic pressure and a sufficient control force is obtained through position adjustment of the electromagnets 1, 5, 15a, and 15b.
