Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device to separately pick up resonance of a conical mode and resonance of a parallel mode and stabilize an overhang rotor by controlling a radial electromagnet adaptive to resonance.
SOLUTION: Signals detected by a radial direction position a sensor 5 and a radial position sensor 9 are inputted to a mode separation part 42. Resonance of a conical mode being vibration inherent to an overhang rotor 1 and resonance of a parallel mode are separately picked up. After a resonance signal for a conical mode is compensated for high frequency characteristics, a radial electromagnet 33 is controlled. Further, after the low frequency characteristics of resonance signal from the parallel mode a resonance signal for the parallel mode are compensated, a radial electromagnet 37 is controlled. Thereby, control of the radial electromagnets adaptive to respective resonances is practicable.
