Title:
MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3131671
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of electromagnets so as to reduce a cost and enhance reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic bearing device comprises a rotating body 1 with tapered bearing surfaces 5, 6 facing reverse directions to each other in the axial direction and formed at two positions separated in the axial direction; two sets of axial/radial magnetic bearings 2, 3 for supporting the rotating body 1 in a non-contact state by six electromagnets 7a, 7b, 7c, 8a, 8b, 8c disposed at the two bearing surfaces 5, 6; and a controller for controlling the electromagnets of the two sets of axial/radial magnetic bearings 2, 3. The controller separately controls axial parallel advancing operation, radial parallel advancing operation, and inclining operation on the center G of gravity of the rotating body 1.
