Title:
MAGNETIC BEARING SPINDLE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3261602
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cool a workpiece tool by forming a helical groove, feeding a cooling machining fluid to the forward when a spindle is rotated, in an internal peripheral surface of a cooling machining fluid flow path of the spindle.
CONSTITUTION: According to rotating a spindle 2, a cooling machining fluid, passing through a cooling machining fluid flow path 19 of the spindle 2, is fed to the front and blown out toward a workpiece from a tool. Here by operating a helical groove 21 formed in a rear end part internal peripheral surface of small diameter 19b of the cooling machining fluid flow path 19, the cooling machining fluid is fed to the forward and suppressed from flowing rearward. Even when leaked rearward from a clearance between this spindle 2 and a cooling machining fluid supply member 29, this cooling machining fluid is accumulated in a machining fluid reservoir 32, to remove the fluid sucked via a suction member 34 and a suction pipe 36 by a suction device 35 through a drain hole 33.
